The purpose of the Palm Beach County League of Cities’ Legislative Agenda is to articulate, advocate, promote and advance issues that are important to and significantly impact municipalities within Palm Beach County and for our collective betterment.
Our Mission Statement
Chartered in 1969 as a nonprofit corporation... The purpose of League of Cities is to promote and advance the best collective interests of the municipalities of Palm Beach County, Florida; to study municipal problems and seek solutions to them through cooperative efforts; to encourage and work for the welfare of the citizens of the municipalities of Palm Beach County, providing the best quality of life possible countywide.
This year our Legisaltive Committee is Chaired by the League's 1st Vice President -Mayor Ken Kaleel of Ocean Ridge.
The committee has begun it's annual schedule of meetings and we are planning for the League of Cities and Legislative Delegation Roundtable Meeting, currently scheduled for Wednesday, November 28th, 2007. This event is where League members spend quality small group time with our delegation members to improve intergovernmental communications, understanding of issues and map startegies for the upcoming Session and legisaltive matters.
